Step Up for Strength and Stability

This simple but powerful exercise strengthens your legs and improves balance:

  1. Find a step (or use stairs or a small chair).

  2. Place your right foot on the step and shift your body weight fully onto it.

  3. Step up and raise your left knee as high as you can without tilting your pelvis.

  4. Lower your left foot back down, tapping the floor with your toes—but keep your weight on your right leg.

  5. Repeat 10 times, then switch sides.

    Do this 3 times per side
