Breathing Reset (Breset?)
Sometimes your nervous system just needs a reset. Here’s a quick way to get your body into recovery mode:
Set a timer for 5 to 10 minutes. Lay down on your back—but not in bed, or you’ll fall asleep. Put a pillow under your head and one under your knees. Now place your hands over your belly button and just let them rest there.
Don’t try to control your breath—just feel your hands resting on your belly. Your mind will drift off to lala land pretty quickly. That’s fine. Just bring your focus back to your hands.
When the timer goes off, you’re done. That’s it. Nothing more.
